Organizations
Members and roles, invitations, seats, and the activity log that shows who changed what.
Everything in the cloud belongs to an organization. Your sessions, keys, plan and usage are all part of one. Everyone starts with a personal organization. A team creates one organization and invites its members.
Roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including deleting the organization and managing other owners |
| Admin | Invite and remove members, change roles, manage billing, provider keys and organization settings, read the activity log |
| Member | Use the organization's plan, models and shared sessions |
An organization always has at least one owner. Make someone else an owner before you leave, or before you delete your account.
Inviting people
Admins invite people by email under Account → Organization. The invitation email links to a page where the invitee accepts or declines. If email isn't set up, copy the invitation link from the pending list and send it yourself. You can cancel a pending invitation at any time.
On the Team plan every member is a seat, and billing follows the member count. Added seats are prorated. Removed seats come off at the next renewal.
Activity log
Account → Organization → Activity shows the organization's security events, newest first. It records who did each thing, or Stripe or an API key, and when:
- sign-ins;
- API keys, computers, device keys and provider keys added or removed;
- invitations, people joining or leaving, and role changes;
- plan and billing changes, invoices and prepaid credit;
- settings such as zero data retention.
Owners and admins can read it. Export downloads it as JSON lines, for your own records or a SIEM. Plans show the last 30 days, and Enterprise keeps a year. Entries are kept for 12 months.
When a member deletes their account, the organization keeps a record that it happened, without their name, email or sign-in details.
